John’s foundation has been built upon successful past roles in Financial Markets and Freight Transportation Logistics, during which he effectively led operations by executing strategy and managing risk whilst navigating supply and demand. In these roles, he had consistently maintained a track record for ensuring the best results by carefully assessing risks and making difficult decisions – decisions that continue to prove to be the right ones.
John has more than 13 years of hotel industry experience with Hilton, IHG, Wyndham, and Best Western brands, and as a Certified Hotel Administrator (CHA) he has held franchise leadership roles supporting full and select service hotels. John is a proven operations management leader committed to continuous improvement in guest satisfaction, team loyalty, and financial results. He displays a leadership style that focuses on the very fabric of business – human relationships – with the exceptional ability to connect, communicate, empathize, and negotiate with diverse groups of people. John continues to express his respect and gratitude for people’s time by way of prioritizing tasks, asking engaging and stimulating questions, and simply showing genuine interest.
His other skills include identifying and recruiting talented, passionate individuals whom he seeks to motivate, demonstrating the value in synergy and focus on collaboration and displaying confidence in self, team, organization, and mission. Furthermore, John demonstrates an aptitude for coaching and influencing on the basis of trust, faith, and excitement towards the development of others.
